A lot of people will stick a soldering iron underneath the wires and then wait for ages for it to heat up enough. A cheat way of quickening up the process is to put a dab of the solder onto the iron &#8211; this will speed things up considerably.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cewilson.offroader.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Misc-070.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cewilson.offroader.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Misc-070-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Misc 070\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-336\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cewilson.offroader.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Misc-070-1024x682.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/cewilson.offroader.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Misc-070-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nothing beats a bit of heatshrink to finish off a job properly.
