Well I lasted 4 days before I headed up the hill. Was a Sunday morning and the itch got too much for me. In short I took the father in-law and the 2 eldest up with me, and we took our time making it up to the pub before turning around and heading back. All bitumen and gravel road, but enjoyable none the less.
Stopped and check a ute that had rolled. Ended up finding out that it happened the night before, but it’s better to be safe than sorry – most people wouldn’t stop presuming that someone else had. And in that area it doesn’t take long for a fresh accident to look like it happened a while ago.
