The weather report was for snow down to 400 metres. When we said goodbye to the kids (they were going to school), the hills were all covered so the itch got a tad too big for me.
If you contemplate a trip like this yourself, it really pays to carry a saw with you. At a guess we cleared about 8 trees today, some of them on the main roads so don’t count on them being clear. A few places we saw tyre tracks up until the trees, then the vehicle had turned around…..
Pictures really tell the story for this trip, but suffice to say we enjoyed ourselves a lot.
